The Handmade Wedding Fair went down a treat! I met some lovely people and other designer/makers. Here are some of my favorite pix from the day. Lovely vintage jewellery from Sarah Drew and Ceramic Brooches from Remon Jephcott. Some shabby chic cake stands and teacup candles from The Very Vintage Tea Time Company. Beautiful dresses from Anna D’Souxa and hats from Holly Young. Yummy cakes from Woods Cafe in Cardinham and tasty free prosecco from catering consultants About Taste. Wedding flowers from Kirsty Wells, photography from Linda Ellis & Magdalena Mrvova. Georgies handmade bunting (THe Big Beautiful Bunting Co) and not forgetting quirky chic jewellery from Pretty Things from Pickle. The lovely Wed Magazine were also there… I could go on…so many other lovely things….!! I hope you enjoy my photos…

First Event of 2011!-Handmade Wedding Fair Sunday, February 6th 11:00am – 4:00pm at The Old Bakery Studios, Malpas Road, Truro, Cornwall

A bit of a different Bridal Fair for couples after something unique, maybe a vintage or shabby chic style wedding, organised by the designer/maker Sarah Drew, who is based at The Old Bakery Studios:
* bubbly out of vintage tea-cups on arrival and vintage afternoon tea
* creative, original makers and service-providers
* homemade cakes and coffee.
* live, laid back jazz
* hourly make-your-own workshops
The Old Bakery Studios have a large exhibition space with parking next door and of course it’s a 2 min walk from town. ‘Wed’ magazine will be there and live jazz all day! Exhibitors include:
* bespoke dress designers,
* contemporary florists, bunting,
* handmade jewellery and accessories,
* delicious cakes and catering,
* unique invitations and
* reportage photographers.
Also hour-long, craft workshops, you don’t have to be getting married!

A good start to 2011..my porcelain jewellery has been mentioned in the ‘Ceramics and Clay’ exhibition article by The Lander Gallery, featured in the Cornish Guardian this week!!
Jubilee Wharf’s 5th Christmas Fair – 18th and 19th December 11am-6pm
Come and browse fantastic stalls (including my jewellery stall!!) in the ZedShed, there will be open workshops, a Skating Rink (yes, you read that correctly), live music and Miss Peapod’s café will be serving evening meals and drinks on Friday & Saturday evening & lunches and refreshments during the day on Friday, Saturday & Sunday.
Blimey, sounds like one of those events you can’t possibly miss!
